For International Attendees, PACK EXPO Is Worth the Trip

Due to changing policies for visiting the United States, we strongly recommend that you consult the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website at cbp.gov/travel and the State Department website at travel.state.gov for the most up-to-date information on:

• U.S. Visas for travel to the United States
• Visa Waiver Program requirements, including ESTA (U.S. Travel Authorization) travel approval
• U.S. Embassies, Consulates and Diplomatic Missions nearest you

• First, check to see If you are a citizen from one of the countries participating in the Visa Waiver Program, you may travel to the United States for tourism or business for 90 days or less without obtaining a U.S. visa.
• Check the visa appointment wait time for your U.S. Embassy/Consulate on travel.state.gov.
• Register for the show as soon as possible and request a Letter of Invitation. After you have registered, visit the Registration Resource Center and request your visa invitation letter by simply entering your badge # and email address.
• After your registration payment is processed, you are able to print your invitation letter directly from the Registration Resource Center to bring to your visa interview.
• Reserve your hotel room through the show’s official Hotel Reservation Office (Expovision) where you will receive the guaranteed lowest hotel rate available and include your hotel confirmation in the papers you bring to your interview.
• Set up a My Show Planner account to research exhibitors and make a plan showing the specific suppliers you intend to see at the show. Print this agenda to present at your visa interview.
• Compile additional evidence that demonstrates your purpose in attending PACK EXPO International and your intent to return home after the show. This includes:

          - Proof of employment
           - Proof of family ties, home ownership and other financial interests
           - Records of previous international travel
